Sara R. Violette Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sara R. Violette (Sumter, South Carolina), who passed away on December 15, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert L. Violette; her mother Irma Buckner Ray; and her brothers, Marvin L. Ray, Edgar Ray and Kenneth Ray.
She is survived by: her daughter Betty Jean "B. J." Floyd (Rocky); her granddaughter Jennifer Douglass (Benjamin); her great grandchildren, Bryson Douglass and Allie Mae Douglass; and her sisters, Wilma Leviner (Wayne) and Iris Hardy.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Springbank Baptist Church (5725 Fish Rd, Dalzell, SC 29040). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
