She was predeceased by: her husband Carl Stephen Smith; her parents, Paul Allen Green, Sr. and Verdie Ernestine "Polly" Connelly Green; her children, Elaine Strickland and Haston Reynolds; and her siblings, Paul Allen Green, Jr., Leona McAllister Thompson and Paulette Jackson.
She is survived by: her sons, Allen Reynolds (Mary Lou) of Olanta, SC, Norman Reynolds (Faye) of Turbeville, SC and Elbert Strickland (Tracy); and her siblings, Martha Broderick (Jimmy) of Chappells, SC and George Green (Gale). She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sumter First Church of God (1835 Camden Hwy, Sumter, SC 29153). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
