It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Queen Esther Grady (Sumter, South Carolina), who passed away on March 9, 2018, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Tommy W. Grady; her children, Barbara Spann, Henry Spann, Jr., Donald Anderson, Howard Spann, Billy Spann and Eric Spann; her siblings, Arthur Lee Johnson, Ivory Anderson, Earnest Anderson Jr., Frank Anderson and Elvede Anderson; her daughters, Allen Spann (Gwendolyn) of Sumter, SC, Gail Brown (Lee) of Estell, SC, Gwendolyn Drake (Hodges) of Sumter, SC and Marie Grady of Sumter, SC; and her siblings, Mary Simmons of Killeen and John Anderson of Ridgeland, SC. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
