She was predeceased by: her husband Billy R. Garrett; her parents, Fred Royd Irvin and Mary Crouch Irvin; and her friend Bill Singleton. She is survived by: her children, John Garrett (Maxine) and Vickey Perdue.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home (221 Broad St, Sumter, SC 29150). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Elmore Hill McCreight (221 Broad St, Sumter, SC 29150). A burial was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Florence National Cemetery (803 E National Cemetery Rd, Florence, SC 29506).
