She was predeceased by: her parents, George Edward Cox and Wilma Player Cox; and her siblings, H. Warren King, Helen K. McLeod and Ann King Marsh.
She is survived by: her husband James "Jimmy" Knowlton Davis, Sr.; her children, James Knowlton Davis, Jr. (Ashleigh) of Sumter, Owen Bass Davis (Valarie) of Santiago and Portia Davis Hawley (Scott) of Atlanta, GA; her grandchildren, Knowlton, Molly, William, Marion, Micah, Jesse, Abigail Davis, Luke, Jude and Ezra Hawley; and her siblings, George Gary Cox (Virginia) of Sumter, Edward Leroy Cox of Sumter and Patsy Dees of Sumter.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Bethel Baptist Church (2401 Bethel Church Rd, Sumter, SC 29154).
