He was predeceased by: his parents, William Furman Rodgers and Julia Irene Stokes Rodgers; and his daughter Myra Rodgers Moye. He is survived by: his sons, Michael Rodgers (Susan) of Waynesville, NC and Joseph Rodgers (Patti) of Shelby, NC; his sister Betty; and his grandchildren, Marjorie "MeMe" Montalbano, Brandon Montalbano and Brianna "The Baby" Montalbano. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home (221 Broad St, Sumter, SC 29150). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Elmore Hill McCreight (221 Broad St, Sumter, SC 29150).
