He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ruthie M. Golden Mitchell and Richard Mitchell; his wife Wendy Ann Cooper; his children, Kassandra D. and Kevin A. Mitchell; his brother Richard; his grandchildren, Selena and Wayne; his mother-in-law Frances Cooper; and his siblings-in-law, Wanda Ricks (Robert), Gretta Parker (Byron) and Dariell Cooper (Betty). He was also cherished by adopted children, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In accordance with COVID 19 guidelines, the family is requesting that face masks and social distancing be observed by relatives and friends during visitation at the home, 4015 Dubose Siding Road, Sumter.
