It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lowell Joe Henderson (Sumter, South Carolina), who passed away on February 24, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Edward Henderson and Virginia Louise Thompson Henderson; his daughter Loel Ann Stout; and his siblings, Wayne Henderson, Brenda Joyce, Shelby Jean and Marshalene.
He is survived by: his children, Virginia "Jenny" Roberts (Dave) of Fredericksburg, VA and Daniel Henderson (Diane) of Texas; his grandchildren, William Stemberger (Brigette), Edward Wright, Michaela Henderson, Jessica Henderson and Daniel Henderson; his great grandchildren, Cole Stemberger and Nile Stemberger; his brother Rod Henderson (Kathy) of Connecticut; and his nieces, Laura Coulter of Sumter and Marilyn Gainey of Sumter. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Florence National Cemetery (803 E National Cemetery Rd, Florence, SC 29506).
