He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Sigler and Jessie Mae Butler Sigler; his siblings, Johnny Lee Butler, Mary Emma Sigler Prioleau and Louise Sigler; and his brothers-in-law, Elehue McFadden, Richard Lee, Bishop Sam Miller and Abraham McDowell.
He is survived by: his children, Brianca Sigler, John "Eric" McLeod, William McFadden, Patricia McLeod and Michelle McClain; and his siblings, Elizabeth Miller of Sumter, Josephine Lee of Sumter, Rosa Mae McDowell of Sumter, Eva Mae Johnson (Curtis) of Sumter, Annie Mae Richardson (Toni) of Sumter, Alice Jackson (James) of Olanta, Martha Burgess of Greenville, Carrie McFadden of New Jersey, Hattie Bell Laws (Robert) of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Joseph Sigler (Ruth), Jimmy Sigler (Lela) of Sumter and John Black of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; nine great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Whites Mortuary (517 N Guignard Dr, Sumter, SC 29150). A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Jehovah Missionary Baptist Church (805 S Harvin St, Sumter, SC 29150).
