In the vast expanse of eternity, Loretta shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Loretta farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Woods and Stella Woods Ohmit; and her husband Roger Dale Clark. She is survived by: her boyfriend Gerald Wayne Grooms of Lamar; her siblings, Ruth Gay of Salem, Indiana and Robert Ohmit of Oneida, Kentucky; and her pets, Annabelle and Missy.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home (515 Miller Rd, Sumter, SC 29150). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Ft. Jackson National Cemetery (4170 Percival Rd, Columbia, SC 29229).
