We are sad to announce that on August 28, 2024, Linda Ruth Hodges (Sumter, South Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Linda Ruth may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Linda Ruth touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Clyde Hodges, Jr.; her parents, Ryan Ard and Nonie Owens Ard; her children, Ronnie Chandler (Stephanie), Lynn Sims (Wayne) of Sumter and Renee Chandler of Sumter; and her siblings, Steve Ard of Sumter, Larry Skinner of Bishopville and Jackie Daniel of Florence.
