With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leroy Sinkler (Sumter, South Carolina), born in Wedgefield, South Carolina, who passed away on February 15, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Leroy may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Rosa Lee Brailsford Sinkler; and his parents, Edward James Sinkler and Phyllis Pringle Sinkler.
Viewing was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Job's Mortuary (312 S Main St, Sumter, SC 29150). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Orangehill Independent Methodist Church (3005 S Kings Hwy, Wedgefield, SC 29168).
