He is survived by: his wife Julia Buckalew Jackson; his children, Julius Reid Jackson (Hope) and Emily Jackson Day; his granddaughter Madison Sawyer Day; and his brother Michael Van Jackson (Jennie). He is also survived by two nieces and numerous cousins.
