He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Franklin Strickland, Sr. and Brenda Yarborough Strickland. He is survived by: his wife April Benton Strickland; his children, Ivey Strickland (Tam), Dixie Strickland, Kaylee Strickland and Dakota Strickland; his grandchildren, Avaleigh (Toot) and Hazel Grace "Big Block"; and his sister Melissa Gayle DeForest.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Green Acres Cemetery (537 Lewis Rd, Sumter, SC 29154).
