He is survived by: his spouse Varnette McKenzie Mixon; his children, Marie Rogers (Jimmy) of Sumter and Gerald Mixon of Sumter; his grandchildren, Jay Rogers and McKenzie Rogers Ortiz (Tito); his great grandchildren, Harlowe Rogers and Benjamin Rogers; and his siblings, Roy Leverne Mixon (Bonnie) of Cusaac's Crossroads and Elise Smiley of Lake City.
