He was predeceased by: his parents, John Conyers Harvin, Sr. and Nellie Sue Hook Harvin; his sister Dorothy "Dotsy" Felder; and his brother-in-law James "Jimmy" Chandler Felder Jr.. He is survived by: his children, John C. "Chip" Harvin, III (Carla) of Myrtle Beach and Tammy Harvin of Florence; his stepdaughter Lauri Beth Dowell (Kent) of Mooresville, NC; his grandchildren, Brandon Kutz, Hamilton Harvin Boyce (David), Jenna Whisonant (Dallas), John Conyers Harvin, IV and Cameron King; his great grandchildren, Emily Boyce, Hudson Kutz and Beckett Boyce; his niece Susan "Mimi" Felder Mixon (Dwight) of Sumter; and his nephew James Chandler "Jimmy" Felder, III (Elizabeth) of Clemson.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home (515 Miller Rd, Sumter, SC 29150). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
