She was predeceased by: her parents, Tommie Jack Barfield and Josephine Curry Barfield; and her brother Willie Jack Barfield. She is survived by: her husband John Pfeifer, Jr.; her son John Pfeifer, III (Jasmine); her brothers, Larry Barfield (Kathy), Robert Barfield (Debra), Ricky Barfield and Leon Barfield (Sharon); her aunt Verlene Hodge; her nieces, Elizabeth Galloway and Andrea Roof; and her nephew Wayne Barfield.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home (221 Broad St, Sumter, SC 29150). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Elmore Hill McCreight (221 Broad St, Sumter, SC 29150).
