Jo Perritt Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jo Perritt (Sumter, South Carolina), who passed away on November 19, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband George Stephen "Steve" Perritt; her parents, Oscar Jospeh Bartlette and Eva Weeks Bartlette; and her sisters, Vivian Cummins and Jean Vitello.
She is survived by: her daughter Donna Ridgeway (Timmie) of Sumter; her grandchildren, Scott Ridgeway (Kendaley) of Sumter and Chase Ridgeway of Georgetown; her great grandchildren, Hunter Ridgeway, Kennedy Ridgeway, Weston Ridgeway and Sadie Ridgeway; and her brother-in-law Charles Vitello of Paxville. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at 515 Miller Rd, Sumter, SC 29150. A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 3:15 PM to 4:15 PM at the Evergreen Cemetery Park (802 N Guignard Dr, Sumter, SC 29150).
