She is survived by: her husband Harvey Arthur Ackerman, Jr.; her son John Lexington Kennedy of Columbia, SC; her sister Cindy Lyon Saylor of Swansea, SC; and her stepchildren, Harvey Arthur Ackerman, III (Mary Elizabeth) and Mary Kathryn Weaver (Eric). She is also survived by six grandchildren.
