She was predeceased by: her husband Roy H. Anderson; her father Earl Thigpen; and her brother Leland Earl Thigpen. She is survived by: her mother Doris Dennis Thigpen; her daughters, Susie Rebecca Nelson (Bryan Nelson) of Mississippi and Candy Renee Bailey of Tennessee; her sisters, Debra Nesbitt (Bobby Nesbitt), Joann Thigpen and Marie McConnell (Bob McConnell); her grandchildren, Monique Hodge, Timothy Bailey, Bryant Nelson Jr., Fetisha Nelson and Matthew Bailey; and her friend Pam Wells. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
