We are sad to announce that on February 14, 2025, at the age of 89, Jackie Lee Secor (Sumter, South Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Emmett Petersen and Lily May Abernathy Secor; his son Thomas David Secor, Sr.; his grandson Zachary Douglas Secor; his half-sister Evelyn Lee Secor Edwards; and his grandparents, Harvey Wilson Abernathy, James H. Petersen and Mary Gallagher Petersen.
He is survived by: his spouse Cena Anne Hodge Secor; his children, Dean Hodge Secor (Sonya) of Mt. Pleasant and Jackie La Cena Secor (Stephanie) of Columbia; his daughter-in-law Patricia Darlene Russell "Darla" Lee (Adam) of Manning; his grandchildren, Thomas David Secor, Jr. of Sumter, Grace Anne Secor of Mt. Pleasant and Brenda Ashleigh "Ashleigh" Secor of Mt. Pleasant; his stepgrandsons, Greyson Parker Wessinger and Peyton Miller Wessinger of Columbia; his great grandchildren, Jackie "Jack" Lee Secor, II and Katherine "Katie" Darlene Johnson; and his close friends, J. B. Hodge and Sellarhea Jordan. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Providence Baptist Church (2445 Old Manning Rd, Sumter, SC 29150). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Providence Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 2445 Old Manning Road, Sumter, SC 29150.
