He was predeceased by: his parents, William Stowe and Ethel LaPlante Stowe; and his son David Stowe of Sumter. He is survived by: his children, Gary Stowe (LaOr) of Navarre, FL, Daryl Stowe (Vicki) of Fletcher, OK, Michael Stowe (Karen) of Sumter, Shirley Collett of Sumter, Rosemary Perillo (Tony) of Sumter and Renee Thurmond (Russell) of Sumter. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home (221 Broad St, Sumter, SC 29150). A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Lawrence Catholic Cemetery (657 W Oakland Ave, Sumter, SC 29150).
