He is survived by: his wife Gloria Jones Lyles; his children, Kim Lyles Betchman (Will) and Gerald Lyles (Christy); his grandchildren, Hamilton Betchman, Emma Wynn Brown (Michael), Anna Lyles and Bryce Lyles; his great grandchild Leni Brown; and his siblings, Kenneth Lyles (Barbara), Dan Lyles (Dotty), Bill Lyles (Shirley), Carol Bradham and Jean Redmond. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
