He was predeceased by: his parents, George Edward Cantlon, Sr. and Frances Marion Bateman Cantlon; his granddaughter Karla Cantlon; and his brother Robert Thornal Cantlon. He is survived by: his children, Angela Cantlon Farris (James) and George E. Cantlon, III; his grandchildren, Logan Lafountain, Chazen Hasbrook and Britton Spencer; and his children, Georgia Shelby Cantlon, Brandon Hodge and Zachary Levendoski. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren; and three sisters.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home (515 Miller Rd, Sumter, SC 29150). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
