He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover E. Rabon, Jr. and Willie Mercedes Johnston Rabon; and his brother Barry Rabon. He is survived by: his wife Debra Ruth Zeicker Rabon; his son Mark Rabon of Sumter, SC; and his siblings, Grover "Bubba" Rabon, III (Cathy) of Sumter, SC and Gloria Lombardi (Richard) of Stafford, VA.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bullock Funeral Home (1190 Wilson Hall Rd, Sumter, SC 29150). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Bullock Funeral Home Chapel (1190 Wilson Hall Rd, Sumter, SC 29150).
