She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Benjamin Jr. and Cordelia L. Frierson; and her spouse Walden Harris. She is survived by: her son Shawn Harris (Katrina).
A memorial service was held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Middle School (3400 Bethel Church Rd, Sumter, SC 29154).
