She was predeceased by: her husband Larry Leroy "Roy" Ardis, Jr.; her parents, Fred Waters and Carrie Huggins Waters; her son Stephan Ardis; and her grandson Larry Leroy Ardis IV.
She is survived by: her son Larry Ardis III of Sumter; her daughter-in-law Kathy Ardis of Sumter; and her grandchildren, Stephan Ardis (Rachel) of Columbia and Emily Stavrou (Strat) of Columbia. She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home (221 Broad St, Sumter, SC 29150). A graveside service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Sumter Cemetery (700 W Oakland Ave, Sumter, SC 29151).
