He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Carl Koone, Sr. and Rochelle Ashcraft Koone. He is survived by: his spouse Earlean Davis Koone; his daughters, Georgia Alviar (Christopher) of Virginia, Kaitlin Koone (D. J. Carraway) of Sumter and Karla Inman (Jerrad) of Noth Carolina; his grandchildren, Aubrey, Samuel, Lincoln, Hayden, Grady and Hendrix; his sisters, Kimberly Koone of Sumter and Charlene Friel (Bill) of Sumter; his nephew Justin Friel (Amanda) of Sumter; and his niece Jeniffer Frye (Bradley) of Sumter.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home (515 Miller Rd, Sumter, SC 29150).
