She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse James Welch and Doris Aletha Watts Welch; and her siblings, Lloyd Welch of Don Welch, J. L, Jesse Welch and Mary Lee Morris.
She is survived by: her children, John E. Brown, Jr. of Manning, Debbie J. Rogers of Sumter and Mark Brown of Surfside Beach; her grandchildren, Phil Rogers, Melissa Vance (Doug), Jennifer Rogers, Nicole Holliday (Brad), Justin Brown, Jacob Brown, Brittany Johnson (Curtis) and Matthew Brown; and her great grandchildren, Jazmine Brown, Stormy Brown, Samuel Brown, Kayla Vance, Christopher Vance, David Rogers, Lyle Johnson and Joy Ann Johnson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
