Doris Estelle Windham Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 9, 2025, at the age of 99, Doris Estelle Windham (Sumter, South Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Arthur Franklin Windham, Sr.; her parents, Ned Samuel Geddings and Claire Estelle McLeod Geddings; and her siblings, Christine Hodge, Bert McLeod, John McLeod and Kathleen McLeod.
She is survived by: her children, Frankie Windham, Ann Windham Mitchell and Steve Windham; her grandchildren, Keith Windham (Cindy), Leslie Lloyd, Christopher Windham (Jordan), Lori Hawkins (Josh), Mandi Chiappone (Joe), Christine Kohl (Justin) and Anna Elmore (Russ); and her sister Audrey McLeod. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Home of Steve and Nan Windham. A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sumter Cemetery (700 W Oakland Ave, Sumter, SC 29151).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 1770 U.S. Highway 15 South, Sumter, SC 29150 or to a charity of one's choice.
