He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy Sue Brown; his parents, Marion Moise Brown and Myrtle Bell Holcomb Brown; and his siblings, Annie Brown Goins, Marie Baker, Linda Brown and Marion Brown.
He is survived by: his daughter Donya Brown; his grandson George W. Green IV; his brother Ronald Brown; and his grandsons, Jake Mims and Brandon Mims. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home (515 Miller Rd, Sumter, SC 29150). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
