He was predeceased by: his parents, Orlie Abner Selvig and Alma Robertha Ulhorn Selvig; his foster father Robert "Bob" Keefer; his brother Van Marshall Selvig; and his son-in-law Avner Sofer.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Anne Cooper Selvig; his foster mother Alice Carol Keefer; his daughters, Amy Lynne Selvig Leiner of Atlanta, GA and Holly Elizabeth Selvig of Columbia, SC; his siblings, Phyllis June Selvig Beeler (John Beeler) and David Robb; his foster siblings, Charles Keefer, Laurie Keefer, Wendy Keefer, Benjamin Keefer, Paul Keefer and Megan Smith; and his granddaughters, Zoe Hannah Leiner, Jenna Rose Leiner of Atlanta, GA and Stella Selvig Sofer of Columbia, SC. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
