He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel F. Barber, Sr. and Mildred Knight Barber; his brother Gene Barber; and his son-in-law Dr. Jeff Crane. He is survived by: his wife Lucy Allen Barber; his children, Donna Crane, Dan Barber (Laura) and Deanna Nalley (Robbie); and his grandsons, Daniel Barber, Walker Barber, Austin Crane, David Crane, Nathan Crane and Alex Richards. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; and five great grandsons.
