It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dana Marie McCoy (Sumter, South Carolina), who passed away on March 4, 2025, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Ray and Kathleen "Kathy" Marie Greenwald Ray. She is survived by: her husband Billy Joe McCoy; her sons, Billy Jo McCoy, Jr. and Justin Bradley McCoy; her granddaughter Charlotte McCoy; her aunts, Lori Buckner (Mark), Wilma Leviner (Wayne), Blanche Ray and Iris Hardy; her uncle Robert Greenwald (Darla); and her siblings-in-law, Janis McCoy Hughes (Wayne), Carl McCoy, Michael McCoy (Michelle) and Jessie McCoy (Jessica).
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home (515 Miller Rd, Sumter, SC 29150). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Springbank Baptist Church Cemetery (5725 Fish Rd, Dalzell, SC 29040).
