She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Montgomery, Sr. and Thelma Graham Montgomery; her son Ralph Douglas Gibson; her siblings, Albert Montgomery, Jr., Willie Edward Montgomery and Rose Frazier; and her nephew James H. Logan.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Ray Gibson of Sumter, SC and Tracie Williams of Fort Mill, SC; her siblings, Catherine Logan of Sumter, SC, Martha Ann (George) of Sumter, SC and Wilbur Montgomery of Sumter, SC; and her close friend Brenda Thurman (Ralph) of Dunn. She is also survived by four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
