It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cornelia Hodge Spigner Gibbs (Sumter, South Carolina), who passed away on October 20, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Willie Hodge and Cena Geddings Hodge; her husbands, Phillip James Spigner and John L. Gibbs; and her siblings, Mary Louise Hodge, Douglas, Joseph, Jake, Durman, Jim, Dewey and Mendal Ray Hodge.
She is survived by: her son James Mickey Spigner (Angela); her grandchildren, Carl Spigner (Katherine) and Erica Spigner; her great grandchildren, Rachel Davis of Sumter and Leah Spigner of Sumter; and her sister-in-law Betty Hodge of Alabama. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and special friends.
