He is survived by: his wife Shila Dennis Coulter; his children, Chandler Lavern Coulter Jr. "CJ" (Annette), Faith Snyder (Roy) and Marilyn Gainey (Chad); his granddaughter Laura Coulter of Sumter; and his siblings, Melvin L. Coulter (Patsy) of Sumter, Eric D. Coulter (Amy) of Sumter, Betty Baun, Joyce Miles and Mildred Mcleod. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, two great granddaughters, and numerous nieces and nephews.
