She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil D. Vaughn and Nora Lee Weatherford Vaughn; her son David Anthony Hatfield; and her sister Margie Vaughn Brunson. She is survived by: her children, Sherry Hatfield Barnes (Tony) of Sumter, William Edward "Eddie" Hatfield, Jr. (Judy) of Columbia and Melanie Hatfield of Sumter; and her brother Lawrence Anthony "Larry" Vaughn, Sr. (Peggy) of Ashwood. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
