He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Carolyn Delores March McGowan; and his parents, Walter Richard McGowan and Doretha Peoples McGowan.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Viewing was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Job's Mortuary (312 S Main St, Sumter, SC 29150). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Jehovah Missionary Baptist Church (609 Manning Ave, Sumter, SC 29150).
