He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Lynwood Davis and Frances Jones Davis; and his brother James M. Davis. He is survived by: his wife Virginia "Ginnie" Bartlette Davis; his son Billy L. Davis, Jr. (Ann); his grandson Nathan Downer (Carley); his great grandchild Shirley Holland Downer; and his sister Lynda Burress (Robert).
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home (515 Miller Rd, Sumter, SC 29150). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Graham Baptist Church (4140 U. S. Hwy 521, SUMTER, SC 29153).
