He is survived by: his parents, William Durst and Mary Durst; his wife Allison; his children, Natalie, William, Gabriel and Peter; and his brothers, Thomas Durst and Joseph Durst of Sullivan's Island.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the James A. McAlister Funeral Home (1620 Savannah Hwy, Charleston, SC 29407). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Saint Clare of Assisi Catholic Church (990 Etiwan Park St, Charleston, SC 29492).
