He was predeceased by: his mother Esther Touchberry. He is survived by: his father Furman Touchberry; his wife Deborah Jantzen Touchberry; his children, Julie (Ron), Russ (Jamie) and Reid (Caitie); and his grandchildren, Sage, Beckham, Jake, Amara, Rand and Orion.

A memorial service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Luke's Lutheran Church (206 Central Ave, Summerville, SC 29483). A reception was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 2:15 PM to 4:00 PM at the Summerville Country Club (400 Country Club Blvd, Summerville, SC 29483).

“Tim was the epitome of what a true southern gentleman should be. He was the AD at Fort when I first started there and only had a few years of getting to know him. There was no one he couldn’t call friend and was so respectable and humble. I loved seeing him and Ron Barber coming to the football games together over the years and it will be so hard not to look for him in the coming years. Rest easy Coach and know your Fort Family will always have you and your family in their thoughts and prayers.”
