It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sarah Brown of Summerville, South Carolina, born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, who passed away on July 10, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Mamie Harris Hamilton; her husband Manning Brown; her father Robert L. Hamilton, Sr.; and her sisters, Bettie Hamilton, Robin Lindsey High and Wilene Thompson.
She is survived by: her daughter Teresa Hinson (Bruce) of Summerville, SC; her granddaughters, Kellima Thompson of Minneapolis, MN, Kyana T. Jackson (Garland) of Columbia, SC and Christina Mazyck of Moncks Corner, SC; her great grandchildren, Elyse Phillips and Langston McNeil; her siblings, Eugene Harris (Kay) of Greenville, SC, Larry Harris, Robert Hamilton of Spartanburg, SC, Jo Nelle Hamilton-Foster of Wellford, SC and Tim Hamilton (Twanda) of Wichita, KS; her former husband James Thompson of Union, SC; and her sister Brenda Miller. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
