It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy E. Jackson of Summerville, South Carolina, born in Lebanon, Virginia, who passed away on July 31, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Walker Jackson and Mary Jane Mutter Jackson; his siblings, Kyle Jackson, Bertha Stenson, Peggy Jean Jackson, Robert Jackson, Claude Jackson and Mildred Hubbard; his nephew Kevin Couch, Jr.; and also Catherine Brown.

He is survived by: his siblings, Velma Morrison and Harold Junior Jackson; his grandchildren, Jerimie, Jenna Jackson, Eric, Marialice Eadie, Matt, Brittany White, Brandon Jackson and Reid Couch; his great grandchildren, Lillie Jackson, Preston, Mary Grace Eadie, Mallory and Jackson White; and also, David, Hollie Jackson, Randy, Lisa Jackson, Kevin and Constance Couch.
