He is survived by: his wife Carolyn O. Sweat; his children, Richard F. Sweat III and Crystal Sweat; and his grandchildren, Cade Sweat and Madison Sweat.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Parks Funeral Home (130 W 1st N St, Summerville, SC 29483). A memorial service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at the Summerville Cemetery (1128 Boone Hill Rd, Summerville, SC 29483).
