Richard Laffoday DuBose Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 22, 2025, at the age of 79, Richard Laffoday DuBose of Summerville, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Ronald DuBose, Sr. and Elma Lee Laffoday DuBose; his brother Victor Ronald DuBose, Jr.; and his brother-in-law Romaine Howard, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Nellita Pridmore DuBose; his daughters, Ragan DuBose-Morris of Charleston and Taryn DuBose Svicarovich of Columbia; his son-in-law Matt Svicarovich; his grandchildren, Oliver Wilder Morris, Averey DuBose Morris, Diana DuBose Svicarovich and Wade Charles Svicarovich; and his sister Lillian DuBose Howard.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Bethany United Methodist Church (118 W 3rd S St, Summerville, SC 29483).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethany United Methodist Church for the Music Ministry or The Shriners' Hospital for Children.
