She is survived by: her husband Laurence; her son Charles Thomas (Tad) Wheeler, IV (Christy); her grandchildren, Charles Tipton, Thomas Kelly, Nathaniel Cade and Anna Aileen; her sister Donna Barton Clair (Laurence); and her siblings-in-law, Donald Wheeler (Claudia) and MaryAnn Martin.
