With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Linda Jean Hammond of Summerville, South Carolina, born in Fort Eustis, Virginia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Linda Jean left this world on February 16, 2025 at the age of 74, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Linda Jean may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Linda Jean touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elba F. Howard and Crawford Hammond. She is survived by: her daughter Michelle Moody (Scott Moody); her grandson Brett Lodge (Carrie Lodge); her great grandchild Maisie Susanne Lodge; and her siblings, Kenneth Hammond, Joyce Smith, Jeraud Hammond (Sylvia), Charles Hammond (Jeanne) and James Howard (Melissa). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Brookhaven Fellowship (287 Temple Rd, Ridgeville, SC 29472).
