He was predeceased by: his parents, William Curtis Gilbert and Inez Reynolds Gilbert. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jean; his daughter Jennifer Catherine Hoffmann (Matthew) of Shalimar, FL; his grandson Brendan James Hoffmann; his daughter Dianne Marie Lang (Michael); his grandson Connor Michael Lang of Charleston, SC; his sister Barbara A. Howard of Chesapeake, VA; and his pet Bailey.
