She was predeceased by: her husband Marshall Quinton Carlton; her mother Hazel; and her siblings, Mabry Dewault Hatch, Leslie Sylvester Hatch, Herbert Huston Hatch, Norma Alice Hatch Lindeman and Ina Ruby Hatch Bagley.
She is survived by: her children, Marsha Denise Carlton of North Charleston and Keith Glenn Carlton (Yvonna) of Summerville; her grandchildren, Heather Carlton Teubner (Darrell) of Bolivar, TN, Christina Torres of Summerville and Adam Carlton (Melissa) of Summerville; and her great grandchildren, Jacob (Harlie), Shelby, Ian Pulse, Penelope, Tapanga, Wilamena Martinez, Oliver, Harper Carlton and Henry Teubner.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Summerville Baptist Church Children's Ministry - 417 Central Avenue, Summerville, SC 29483.
